Methodology: Pressures are calculated using contact-patch theory: front load = 40% / rear load = 60% of total system weight, scaled by tire width using an empirical constant derived from published tire manufacturer data. Tube-type multipliers reflect the compliance characteristics of each material (butyl 1.0×, TPU 0.95×, latex 0.90×, tubeless 0.83×). Tire category multipliers reflect casing stiffness (TPI): race 0.93×, performance-comfort 0.97×, training 1.0×, budget 1.05×. Results are a starting point — fine-tune ±5 PSI based on feel, surface conditions, and tire manufacturer minimums.
