What?

Sup all! I am officially in business with WEEECYCLE. I am excited to bring a brand to the cycling industry. Weeecycle is bigger than me for sure. I am pretty psyched about being a part of Weeecycle as a cycling enthusiast.

What is this brand? Well, it can mean several things either way you look at it. Let's open up the hood of Weeecycle.

Weeecycle — Weeeeee!

This denotes fun. When going on a descent on a bike, you may just go whooooah — or like me, I go weeeeee! Going fast is what I like, but I also like to say that cycling is fun. If it isn't fun, then why do 112 million people ride a bike in the United States alone — and that doesn't even include our European friends?

Cycling is one of the fastest growing recreational sports on the planet. The fun of a descent, the burn of a climb, the satisfaction of rolling home after a long ride — there is nothing else quite like it.

Weeecycle — Recycling the Fun

The tagline of this effort is exactly what it says. Recycling the fun is basically taking a bike you have had sitting in your garage and reclaiming the fun it had when it was first bought — to do what? Have FUN!

I want to reclaim an old bike, bring it back to life, and then when the time is right, replace it with something even better. That old bike doesn't have to end up being parted out and thrown in the bin. It deserves a second chapter.

Weeecycle — Share the Fun

I am an introvert and I genuinely love riding alone. The road, the rhythm, the quiet — it's meditative. But there isn't anything quite like riding in a group ride either. When you're rolling with a crew, weeeeeee go to coffee shops, share a beautiful waterfall, or discover a new road together.

Your mate can draft behind you for a while, then you switch. It makes a long ride so much more fun. The shared suffering of a long climb, the group cheer at the top, the coffee and banter at the end — that's the stuff you remember.

The Goal

Weeeeee hope you can join us as we grow together. The goal for this effort is to have fun together — whether that's a group ride in Lexington or a virtual spin on Zwift. We hope you would allow us to build up your dream bike. That dream bike may very well be sitting in your garage right now, waiting.

I hope that a community called Weeecycle actually does develop — one where we can encourage, uplift, and share our journeys of cycling together. At the end of the day, the goal is to give you content that brings good will to you and your cycling.
